Orion Kerkering is undoubtedly one of the talented pitchers in the league. The Philadelphia Phillies have won multiple crucial games with Kerkering’s stellar performance. The relieving pitcher has carved a name for himself in the big leagues. However, his last game in the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers didn’t go well.

Kerkering hit the headlines after he made an error with a throw to home plate. Instead of throwing the ball to Bryce Harper at first base, he chose to throw it home. To make things worse, the throw was off target, eliminating the Philadelphia Phillies from the 2025 season.
