A single mother has shared her agony after finding her "beautiful baby girl" dead in her crib hours after she put her to sleep.
Hanifa Sekalala, 38, from Leeds, lost six-month-old Anirah Ellena Kirabo to an unknown illness just hours after she had put her precious baby girl to sleep. She described her daughter as "the light of her life".
Hanifa said: "She was happy and healthy, nearly five kilos and never had any problems. She was happy, feeding well, and sleeping well. I had put her to bed, but found her on Wednesday, October 1, unresponsive. I screamed for the neighbours who performed CPR until the ambulance came, but it didn't work."
Tragically, Anirah Ellena Kirabo - whose last name translates to 'gift' in Ugandan - was pronounced dead the same day.
