The Government of Saskatchewan's latest public offering of Crown oil and gas rights on Tuesday generated $7,338,034 in revenue for the province. The Estevan-Weyburn region was the primary driver of the sale, contributing nearly half of the total revenue.

While the results are a significant drop from the $24 million generated in the August 2025 offering, the province has raised $52,762,018 over the first four sales of the 2025-26 fiscal year. According to a government news release, the total already surpasses the entire revenue earned through all six offerings in the previous fiscal year.

The Estevan-Weyburn area brought in $3,474,184, the most of any region in the province. All 40 parcels posted in the southeast were sold, covering a total of 4,904 hectares.
