NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — WGNO is your Local Election Headquarters, and we are providing the information you need to cast an informed vote in the Oct. 11 election.

Starting at 7 a.m., voters will be able to cast their votes at their assigned polling location until they close at 8 p.m. Anyone still in line by the time the polls close will still be able to vote.

Be sure to bring one of the following items with you when going to vote • Driver’s license • Louisiana Special ID • LA Wallet digital driver’s license • United States military identification card that contains your name and picture • Some other generally recognized picture ID that contains your name and signature
