LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Former Kentucky swimming coach Lars Jorgensen is now permanently ineligible to coach, after Thursday’s ruling from the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

According to The New York Times, the center cited Jorgensen for “misconduct” and specifically listed an “intimate relationship involving a power imbalance.”

Jorgensen resigned from UK in 2023, but that move followed years of alleged sexual violence.
