SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- The Banana Ball World Tour is officially making a stop in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2026.
Banana Ball is a variation of baseball with several key differences, including scoring points for winning innings instead of accumulating runs, a two-hour time limit, and no walks (instead, batters can run on ball four). Other key rules include no bunts (ejected if you bunt), no mound visits, no stepping out of the batter's box (a strike), and fans catching foul balls results in an out.
You can find the full rules and schedule for Banana Ball here.
The Firefighters will face off against the Indianapolis Clowns on August 27-29 at the Sioux Falls Birdcage. This marks the first-ever Banana Ball appearance in South Dakota.
