Alvaton Fire Department responds to 8 accidents on I

ALVATON, Ky. (WBKO) - The Alvaton Fire Department has responded to eight injury accidents over the past four days, which all took place on I-65.

These have included, but are not limited to:

A flipped camper with an active propane tank leak, requiring I-65 to be shut down

A KSP cruiser that was struck while parked on the shoulder

A vehicle vs a semi this afternoon

AFD encourages drivers not to be distracted while on the roadway. They also want to warn people that when you see a stopped vehicle, especially an emergency services vehicle with its lights activated, you should slow down and move over.
