FARGO — The Fargo school district is asking the community to help name its new northside elementary school.
From Friday, Oct. 10, through Friday, Oct. 24, Fargo Public Schools is seeking submissions for names for the new elementary school to be built on the site of Horace Mann Elementary at 1025 Third St. N. in Fargo, the district said in a release.
The submission window is open until 4 p.m. Oct. 24. Ideas may be submitted online through a link on the Fargo Public Schools website.
The school, scheduled to open in 2028, will join the Horace Mann-Roosevelt and Madison Elementary School attendance areas into a single school.
The Fargo Board of Education will choose the new name from submissions.
Per an FPS Administrative Policy, the Board will consider names of national or state sign
