Delaware State Police are investigating a deadly crash south of the Summit Bridge.

Shortly after sunrise Friday morning, the northbound driver left Summit Bridge Road near Old Summit Bridge Road and crashed into a utility pole. The 27-year-old Middletown man who was at the wheel was pronounced dead at the scene.
