HARTFORD, Conn. — The state of Connecticut has settled with two moving and storage companies for $90,000 over their alleged bid-rigging.

Attorney General William Tong announced on Friday that the settlement was made with Fallon Moving Storage, Inc. and Commercial Moving Services, LLC.

Investigators allege that the companies initiated illegal bid-rigging on a state contract for moving and storage services in violation of the Connecticut Antitrust Act. This allegedly occurred earlier this year.

The investigation was conducted by Tong’s office, which found that the companies shared sensitive pricing information and pre-coordinated their bids.
