EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — It finally feels like fall across Southern New England as high school football teams continue to hit the grid iron.

In this week's edition of the Friday Night Blitz, 12 Sports' Sam Knox, Morgan Weaver and Aniekan Okon will bring you high school football scores, highlights and more from around Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, including the Game of the Week: Cranston East vs. Middletown.

Providence Journal sportswriter Eric Rueb will also break down the night's games and highlights the state's top talent.
