NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — This weekend, Donelson residents have a chance to make their voices heard and ask questions about a proposed hotel on McGavock Pike.
Metro Councilman Jeff Gregg (District 15) is holding a town hall meeting on Sunday, Oct. 12, with the developer.
The building would sit near the Merry Oaks and Woodberry Park neighborhoods. It's a high-end hotel that would be 13 stories tall. The land for it has sat empty for decades.
Gregg told News 2 the developer applied for a height variance for the hotel, because they needed extra stories to accommodate everything the hotel entails.
He said the developer did not show up to a previous zoning hearing, so the variance application was initially tossed.
