CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) -- The candidates for mayor in Campbell both knew Byran Tedesco well. The former mayor passed away in April.
Voters will pick a new mayor next month, and the two candidates feel ready to build upon the city's resurgence.
There are two approaches to helping Campbell. Joe Mazzocca Jr. has been on city council for 15 years and believes in more improvement with the brownfield area.
"I want to complete that job down to Brownfield, get the industry down there and hopefully get the good-paying jobs back to the city," Mazzocca said.
Bill Valentino also recognizes that Campbell needs to grow its tax base for the good of the city.
