NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Erick Hughes lives a few miles from the Accurate Energetic Systems explosives facility in Hickman County.

Authorities say that plant was leveled in a “massive” and “devastating” explosion Friday that killed multiple and has left 19 others missing.

Hughes said the shock from the blast could be felt at his home.

“We were just sitting in the living room drinking coffee, and all the sudden we heard just a massive boom. It was a two-part boom, like a boom boom,” he said. “It shook the house, it rattled the windows, we thought something happened in our front yard. We were running outside, looking around, didn’t see anything.”
