The Cougars made that crystal clear on Friday, routing Kalama 47-6 in a matchup of league unbeatens.

“We just wanted to prove a point,” senior running back/linebacker Caden Sullivan said. “We wanted the league to know what we’ve been doing and what we’ve been working for.”

And part of what the Cougars have been working on is a shutdown defense.
