Senior quarterback Tripp Leifsen completed all 10 of his passes for 206 yards in the first half as the Washougal Panthers dominated from the very first play in a resounding 49-0 win over the Hudson’s Bay Eagles in 2A Greater St. Helens League play Friday at Kiggins Bowl.

Senior Casey Crosby picked off a Jackson LeBlanc pass and returned it 34 yards for a touchdown on the game’s first play for Washougal. It would be all the points the Panthers would need as they improved to a league-best 4-0 on the season and 5-1 overall.

Tripp Leifsen threw for three touchdowns, one each to Crosby, Thane Sanders and Parker Cherry in the first half as the Panthers forced four turnovers in the game’s first two quarters.
