The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory at 3:19 a.m. on Saturday valid from Sunday 2 p.m. until Monday 11 p.m. for Lower Bucks as well as Delaware and Philadelphia counties.

The weather service states, "Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways."

"At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads along tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible," comments the weather service. "A Coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some road closures. Usually, the most vulnerable roadways will flood.
