GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A celebration of life service was held for the Gwinnett County master deputy who was killed in a domestic shooting in September.

Tamara Tuitt-Bartlett was discovered dead on Sept. 27 after her son showed up at a neighbor's house, bleeding, telling them his mom and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, the teen arrived at the neighbor's house shortly before 8 p.m. The subsequent 911 call from the neighbor led officers to find a woman had been killed at the Villages at Shakerag subdivision.
