SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Sioux City Public Library transformed a local cemetery into a history lesson on Saturday, Oct 11, drawing at least one hundred community members for a unique blend of history and true crime investigation.

The library hosted “Sioux City True Crime - Stories Beneath the Stone,” a one-hour walking tour through Graceland Park Cemetery.

It was the first time the popular true crime series ventured beyond library walls to visit actual gravesites of crime victims.

Cars lined the cemetery road as curious residents from the Siouxland area gathered to explore five historic cases that shaped Sioux City’s criminal past.

“I didn’t realize there were this many true crime fans like me,” said one of the participants there for a tour.
