YOUNGSTOWN - The Youngstown State University Hispanic Heritage Planning Committee is hosting a free Hispanic Heritage Festival and inviting everyone to come and celebrate.
The Festival is happening inside the decorated walls of YSU's McDonough Museum of Art.
The highlight of the event is the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) style Ofrenda Altares (offering altars), which everyone is invited to partake in by bringing and displaying pictures or sentimental items of their deceased loved ones in celebration of their lives.
Beyond the altares, there is also a suite of cultural displays, art exhibitions, dancing, children's activities and light refreshments.
