Steven Gerrard has sensationally pulled OUT of the running to be the next Rangers manager. ‌

Ibrox chiefs held talks with the 45-year-old former Gers boss in London this weekend and were keen on bringing him back to Glasgow for a second spell in charge. ‌

But Gerrard decided to withdraw from the process on Saturday night. ‌

The man who delivered 55 hasn't ruled out returning to the club in the future.

But American owners Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe are now pushing on to appoint another manager. Article continues below
