EAST LANSING – It was a homecoming horror show for Michigan State.

The Spartans (3-3, 0-3 Big Ten) gave up 38 straight points en route to a 38-13 loss against UCLA (2-4, 2-1) on Saturday in a lifeless performance for their third straight defeat.

Playing at Spartan Stadium for the first time in a month, Michigan State put together an embarrassing outing across the board while starting quarterback Aidan Chiles was knocked out of the game injured in the second half and didn’t return.

It will only further question the direction of the program under second-year coach Jonathan Smith and the road ahead gets harder with top-25 matchups to close the month, at Indiana and against Michigan.
