CANYON, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Randall County Sheriff's Office reports that fire crews are responding to a spreading grass fire near Canyon, leading to evacuations.

Officials said a grass fire is spreading northbound between I-27 and FM 3331, and evacuations have been issued for the south side of Palo Duro Club. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
