For a while, Ryan Williams didn’t see the field against Missouri.

He didn’t get the start. Rico Scott, Germie Bernard and Isaiah Horton did. The next receiver in the game was Lotzier Brooks. After that, Derek Meadows was next up.

Eventually Williams entered the game, but he saw limited snaps and had minimal impact on No. 8 Alabama’s 27-24 victory over No. 14 Missouri on Saturday at Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri.

Williams was listed as “probable” on the Crimson Tide’s availability report from Wednesday through the rest of the week. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer was asked postgame about Williams’ status.
