Alabama football lost two players with injuries during its Saturday win over Missouri in Columbia. Both wide receiver Derek Meadows and running back Jam Miller headed to the locker room during the game .
According to head coach Kalen DeBoer, both players suffered the same injury.
“Got a concussion,” DeBoer said of Meadows’ affliction, a diagnosis that he said also applied to Miller.
Meadows took a shot to the head in the first half, while attempting to make a catch for the Crimson Tide. Missouri safety Marvin Burks was ejected for targeting on the play.
After leaving the game, Meadows was on the sideline late in the win, wearing street clothes. Before the injury, he looked to be getting his most extensive action of the season so far, in part due to Ryan Williams being limited.
