NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide that left one man dead in the Leonidas neighborhood.
According to police, officers responded to a call around 5:58 p.m. at the intersection of Cambronne and Apple streets.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds lying in the street.
EMS arrived on the scene and took the victim to a local hospital, where he later died.
