When Fort Langley's Sandy Cameron learned about dancing witches, she decided to start her own group.

"There's a German group of dancing witches, they're world famous and we follow them and their dances and there are thousands of groups all around the world now," Cameron said.

"I was waiting for one to open up in the valley out here somewhere and nothing happened, so I started one [in 2021]," Cameron told the Langley Advance Times.

On Saturday, Cameron and about two dozen other members of Fort Langley Dancing Witches, laughed and cackled their way through a dance performance, in elaborate costumes and makeup, complete with brooms, at the Fort Langley Community Hall on Saturday, during Cranberry Fest.
