Garrison Johnson scored three touchdowns and The Citadel rushed for more than 300 yards as the Bulldogs cruised to a 38-14 win over Division II Valdosta State before a rain-soaked crowd of 8,693 at Johnson Hagood Stadium on Oct. 11.
Coming off a bye week, the Bulldogs looked sharp from the opening kickoff, scoring on their first four offensive possessions of the game.
Freshman running back Sebastien Boyle led the Bulldogs (3-3, 2-1 in SoCon) with 74 rushing yards, including a 72-yard TD run in the second quarter.
It was the second straight game the Bulldogs have rolled up more than 300 rushing yards.
