Joe Biden is undergoing radiation therapy for his prostate cancer.

The former US President announced in May that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease and his spokesperson explained that he is now having radiation therapy and hormone treatment “as part of a treatment plan”.

The spokesperson said in a statement on Saturday (11.10.25): “As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer, president Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment.”

The treatment marks a new stage in Biden’s care and is expected to last for five weeks.

The 82-year-old politician - who was frequently questioned about his health during his time in the White House - confirmed earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer that had spread to his bones
