A West Aussie Lotto player has banked a hefty slice of the stunning $50 million Powerball prize.

The fortunate Sandgroper and one Northern Territory winner will each walk away with an enviable $25m after securing half of the division one sum on Thursday night.

And a very lucky pair they were, with the odds of setting off the Powerball jackpot being one in 134,490,400, according to Lotterywest .

Lotterywest confirmed on Friday morning that the winning WA ticket was not registered, was sold in the metropolitan area and was a single-entry ticket.

Luck rolled on for the west across division two, with one WA ticketholder snapping up a tidy $121,536.10 alongside six other players nationwide.

Division three dished out a handy cash boost worth more than $12,440 to 85 punters.
