SALT LAKE CITY — Utah football quarterback Devon Dampier once again called his own number in the first half against the Arizona State Sun Devils to put the Utes up 14-3.

It was Dampier’s second rushing touchdown of the game and fourth of the season.

It took just three minutes for Utah to gain 59 yards on eight plays. Over the first three drives, Dampier connected on four of his eight pass attempts for 33 yards and added 45 yards on four carries with two TDs.

Utah football’s first series, although a similar result, had a different feel from the second-quarter scoring drive.
