The driver of a box truck was rushed to the hospital Saturday after a collision In East Windsor.

Police say it happened in the area of North Road during the early evening hours.

The 16-year-old driver of the box truck had to be extricated from the vehicle and subsequently flown to Hartford Hospital by LifeStar.

Police do not believe the teen had the proper license to be driving the vehicle, if any at all.

It is unclear if any other vehicles were involved in the crash.

East Windsor Police, along with the department's Metro Traffic Services unit, are continuing to investigate the accident.
