Two people were injured in a head-on crash Saturday afternoon in Wallingford, Vermont, and state police suspect one of the drivers involved was driving under the influence.

Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on US Route 7, in the area of Hartsboro Road, around 1:28 p.m., according to state police, who said it was reported that one vehicle was on fire.

The crash was determined to be a head-on collision involving a Toyota Tacoma, that sustained extensive front-end damage, and a Volkswagen Passat that was totaled.
