Agartala, Oct 12: A suspected Pakistani woman exhibiting suspicious behaviour was arrested in Tripura, and senior officials are currently interrogating her to gather more information, police said on Sunday.
According to officials, the woman identified herself as a resident of Sheikhupura district in Pakistan. The 50-year-old was detained by the Government Railway Police (GRP) at Sabroom Railway Station in southern Tripura on Saturday night, after she arrived by the Kanchanjunga Express.
The Kanchanjunga Express operates between Sealdah (Kolkata) and Sabroom, near the Bangladesh border, passing through Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri, Guwahati, Badarpur (southern Assam) and Agartala.
