Pundit Sam Parkin is convinced Derby County will soon start to climb the Championship table.

The Rams are two points above the relegation zone, in 20th spot, with nine games gone. They have picked up one win in the league so far this season, although they have drawn their last three matches.

Prior to the international break, Patrick Agyemang bagged his first goal for the club as they came from behind to seal a 1-1 stalemate with Southampton. The striker breaking his duck is one reason why Parkin is certain Derby will push up the standings, while he also pointed to a tightening-up of the defence since the 5-3 defeat to Coventry City in August.
