The Highway To Everywhere festival began Friday night in downtown Emporia, and continued on Saturday at Champs Landing. Eleven bands began at 2:00 pm until late that night and alternated between two stages. A few tents were pitched for festival-goers, food trucks, a hot dog stand, and a few craft booths were there to enjoy a good time. There were scores of volunteers to help make the event run smoothly.
