LYNDON—Madison had an opportunity to establish afavorable postseason path and stake a claim to a district title by defeating Lyndon Friday, but unfortunately, the narrative wasn’t written that way.

The Bulldogs fell to the Tigers 56-6, ending their undefeated winning streak and dropping to 5-1. Lyndon moved to 5-0.

The first-half quarterback numbers, or passing game, if you will, kind of told the story. Madison quarterback Brayden Grimmett went 6-17 for 74 yards, while his Tiger counterpart, Lucas Griffin, threw for 316 yards and five

scores, and was 17-22. Add in some costly Bulldog turnovers and a plethora of penalties, and it spelled disaster.
