NORFOLK, Nebraska (KTIV) - Deputies with the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a teenage driver speeding at 129 miles per hour Saturday, Oct. 11.
According to a press release, the Sheriff’s Office says a motorcycle was spotted on Highway 275 four miles east of Norfolk speeding at 129 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone.
When deputies pulled over the motorcycle, the driver, 17-year-old Jason Wagner of Norfolk was cited for the speed violation and given a court date in November.
In a separate traffic stop, a vehicle was observed travelling at 103 mph in a 70-mph zone six miles east of Norfolk on Highway 275. The driver, 28-year-old Ke’Jaun Jones of Omaha was found to be intoxicated.
