PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers safety Chuck Clark is listed as an unexpected inactive against the Cleveland Browns . With Jabrill Peppers up and active, that likely means that Peppers will take on most of Clark’s role in the defense.

Clark has played a significant amount of snaps with DeShon Elliott injured and Peppers catching onto the defense. Clark is coming off two back-to-back seasons with serious injuries. He missed all of 2023 with a torn ACL, and returned for the 2024 season, but it was ended early by a torn pectoral muscle.
