An Aberdeen restaurant is going interstellar as it releases a new menu inspired by space.

Forres-based orbital launch services company Orbex has teamed up with restaurant brand Six by Nico to sample the new menu.

Eight Orbex team members – working on the development of Orbex Prime that is set to launch from Scotland in 2026 – traded the launchpad for the dinner table to taste Six by Nico’s newest dishes at its Union Street venue .

The space-inspired six-course menu features dishes with cosmic flair, including the Zero Gravity Oyster, Solar Flare Flat Iron and Goodbye Earth, a baked vanilla custard dessert designed to end the journey on a high.
