A special exhibition train celebrating 200 years of the railways in the UK has arrived in Scotland and is set to visit Aberdeen later this week.

Named Inspiration, the train features four themed carriages that take visitors on a journey through rail history , future innovation and local stories .

The train has kicked off its tour of Scotland by spending two days at Glasgow Central, and is set to arrive in the north-east on Sunday, October 19 before departing for Edinburgh.
