NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – NJ Transit rail service is seeing 20-minute delays in and out of Penn Station Monday morning, officials said.

The delays are a result of mechanical issues, according to NJ Transit.

The transit system is already running with modifications as the region is pummeled by rain Monday.

Commuters on the Montclair-Boonton line are also seeing 30-minute delays after a tree fell onto the tracks near Glen Ridge, officials said.
