Rejecting all bids and re-advertising for a nearly 3-mile sidewalks and other roadwork project in Apache Junction is on the agenda for Friday’s meeting of the Arizona State Transportation Board.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in the Sierra Vista City Hall, 1011 N. Coronado Drive, or by using the WebEx meeting link at www.aztransportationboard.gov

Bids were opened Sept. 5 for the state-estimated $5.3 million project on Old West Highway, Idaho Road to Goldfield Road; and Winchester Road, Old West Highway to the Sixth Street alignment. W.W. Clyde & Co. had the lowest bid, $2,818,888.60, it states in the meeting’s agenda.
