WATSONTOWN — Kristy Lair, 43, of Watsontown, eats the right food, practices a physically fit lifestyle, but what she hadn't done was regularly take mammograms.

"I was 42 when I was first diagnosed," she recalled. "And that was the first mammogram I had ever had."
