Santa Fe police have obtained an arrest warrant for a 33-year-old Pojoaque man accused of stabbing another male during a Sunday night fight.
Anthony R. Chacon, who is facing a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and had not been taken into custody as of late Monday afternoon, is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Officers responding to a report of a stabbing around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Cerrillos Road found a "male victim" with multiple stab wounds. Police did not provide the age of the victim, who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.
"The victim stated he and the suspect were in a physical altercation when he was stabbed," police wrote in a news release.
