PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio —

Police in Ohio released body camera footage after officers chased a giant inflatable pumpkin that broke free from a home.

The incident happened last Wednesday.

The inflatable pumpkin was rolling around until an officer and a passerby corralled it.

"I was kinda like following it, and it kept blowing away, and when I went to grab it over here, it just took off," one of the officers said.

This festive fugitive rolled down the street before officers got their hands on it. But this large jack-o'-lantern wasn't going down easily.

Police were finally able to wrangle and mostly deflate the Halloween decor, then, with a whole heap of effort, they pushed and pulled it through the door of a patrol car.
