The victim and accused in a stabbing outside Argyle Mall did not appear to know each other, London police say.
Officers were called to a fight in the parking lot of the east-end mall at 1925 Dundas St. around 6 p.m. Friday. They found a 53-year-old man with apparent stab wounds, police said.
He was taken to hospital with critical injuries and was in fair condition on Tuesday, police said.
A 32-year-old London man is charged with aggravated assault. He remains in custody and is expected to appear in court Wednesday, police said.
Anyone who was in the area of Dundas Street and Clarke Road around 6 p.m. Friday, or who may have dash-cam, residential, or business video footage, is asked to contact police at 519-661-5670.
