LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - A judge in Columbia County has granted a dating violence injunction against US Rep. Cory Mills, a Republican from Florida, ordering him not to contact his ex-girlfriend, Lindsey Langston, a Miss United States pageant winner.

Judge Fred Koberlein granted Langston’s petition for an injunction for Protection Against Dating Violence against the congressman on Tuesday.

The order bars Mills from contacting Langston, committing violence against her, or going within 500 feet of her home in Lake City.

Langston filed the petition in August. She says following their breakup, Mills made threatening statements to her and suggested he could share
