[JESUP, Iowa] — A beloved ice cream shop in Jesup is closing its doors permanently.

The Dairy Kone owners announced the closure on their Facebook page . "After much thought and reflection, we've made the difficult decision to close Dairy Kone for good," they said.

For those looking to enjoy a final treat, the shop will remain open until all the food and ice cream are sold.
