FARMINGTON, Wis. — A teen is dead and another is hurt after a UTV crashed over the weekend in rural Polk County,

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, it happened on 250th Street near 20th Avenue in the town of Farmington.

Around 7 p.m. Saturday, the teens were riding the UTV with no helmets or seatbelts when they lost control and rolled into a ditch, officials said.

The passenger, identified as Alexa Peterson, was flown to Regions Hospital but died from her injuries. The driver of the UTV is expected to survive.
